Flying directly into Santa Barbara will be the easiest. The Santa Barbara Inn is a 15 minute drive from the airport. Car rental is available at the airport but you can also opt for an Uber or taxi (expect to wait a bit since there are not that many flights that arrive each day).

Since the Santa Barbara Airport is quite small, others might fly into LAX which is 92 miles away or a 1 hour and 45 minute drive but can be much longer due to the hellish LAX traffic.
